Step 1: Prepare Target Portal Credentials and Account Ownership

Ensure you have the necessary Target Partner Portal credentials with admin permissions ready. You must also have access to Business Partner Data (BPD) and sales reporting for the Target account you wish to connect to Evidnt Nexus.

Step 2: Accessing Target Business Partner Data (BPD)

a) Log in to your Target Partner account at the Partners Online Portal.

b) Navigate to the “Apps & Reports” menu from the top navigation bar.

c) Select “Business Partner Data” and click the “Launch” button to access your sales and inventory reports.

Step 3: Subscribe to Business Partner Data

a) In the Data Subscription section, select Item/Location Level Data.

b) Check the “UPC File” box and select the following categories:

• Sales
• Item Attributes
• Inventory

c) Submit the form and confirm the subscription to Business Partner Data.

Step 4: Confirm Access to Target’s File Sharing Portal

a) If you haven’t already, log in to Target’s Kiteworks portal at https://securesharek.target.com/.

b) Enter the email address linked to your Target account and reset your password if needed by clicking “Forgot Password” and following the instructions sent to your inbox.

c) Set a new password specifically for Kiteworks.

Step 5: Connect Target Data to Evidnt Nexus

a) Log in to your Evidnt Nexus account.

b) From the main menu, select “Retailer Connect”

c) Choose the Target connector tile.

d) Enter your Target Kiteworks username and password.

e) Save the connection and ensure the diagnostic checklist is complete. Once all checks are green, your Target data will automatically be processed in Evidnt Nexus for analysis.

Alternative: Manual File Upload to Evidnt Nexus

If you prefer, you can manually download your Business Partner Data reports from Kiteworks and upload them directly to Evidnt Nexus. Simply log in to your Nexus account, navigate to the Retailer Connect, and upload the files for processing and analysis.

By following these steps, Evidnt Nexus will continuously process your Target data, helping you analyze sales, inventory, and product performance to make informed decisions. Alternatively, you can choose to manually upload files into Nexus for added flexibility.
